HP Preferred Partner Program 2009
How to obtain your HP Partner Fundamentals Certification and sales or technical certification
As part of the HP Preferred Partner Program criteria, 2 exams must be taken:
- HP Partner Fundamentals Certification 2009 (HP2-E19)
- + minimum 1 sales or 1 technical certification. Bell Micro recommend either Selling HP Commercial SMB Solutions (HP2-E12) or Selling HP Enterprise Solutions (HP2-E13)
How to obtain these:
- Obtain a HP Student ID - If you do not yet have an HP Student ID please visit www.hp.com/certification/emea/how_register.html to register
- Log onto the HP Certified Professional (HPCP) student portal http://certification.portal.emea.hp.com/. If you have any problems logging in, then please call the UK&I HPCP call centre on 0207 216 0174 or email certification.uk@hp.com
- Select the link 'HP Smart Learning', from the left hand side
- Once in the Smart learning web page, select 'Training Catalogue' from the left hand menu
- When in the 'Training Catalogue' web page, ensure that 'HP Preferred Partner Programme is selected from the 'Course Category' drop down box. This will show a number of links that you can choose. Select 'Partner Fundamentals' (Web Based Training). The title of the correct course is 'HP Partner Fundamentals Certification Training 2009 (HP2-E19)' All the modules for Partner Fundamentals 2009 are contained in this training
- Download the course to your 'Learning Plan'; using the 'Add' button
- Click on 'My Learning Plan'
- Click 'Partner Fundamentals Training'
- Click on 'Launch Self Paced'
- ALWAYS click on 'Quit' when exiting modules otherwise it will not update your learning plan if you don't
- The exam now needs to be passed. You will need a Prometric ID
- Select 'First Time Registration' from the link below http://ibt1.prometric.com/index.asp?ibt=8801843523&
You are now ready to take the exam.
